Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cashew
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon flavored red chili powder
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 200 grams chopped dark chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies

How to Make?

  • For 2-3 minutes, to start with dry toast cashews. Don’t fire them up.
  • Add sugar, corn syrup, butter, and water in a different saucepan and cook. Put the baking soda and chili powder in and stir with a ladle for a while. Then add in the toasted cashew and whisk it again until the whole mixture mixes well.
  • Place parchment paper in a tray and pour the mixture in. Let it cool for some time, then cut into shapes of your size when it is still dry. Your spiced cashew brittle is ready now its time for the bark.
  • In a saucepan add water and 3/4th chocolate to it. Keep the flame low and let the chocolate melt after it is melted add the remaining chocolates and stir it for some time.
  • Now remove the pan from the flame and add rice Krispies into it. Stir the mixture so that the content is evenly mixed.
  • Place a parchment paper in a tray, and pour in the mixture. Let it cool for some time, and cut it into shapes of your choice when it is still a little warm.
  • Your chocolate bark is ready. You can now serve this sweet and spicy combination, and even store it in the fridge in an airtight container.

Chocolate Pistachio Biscotti

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup pistachios
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 2-3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup baking cocoa
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

How to Make?

  • Preheat the oven to 160-degree Celcius
  • In a bowl add butter and sugar and skim it for a while till it gets smooth. Start adding eggs to eat and beat it for some time until the entire mixture is mixed. Add vanilla essence from the top.
  • Mix the flour, chocolate, baking powder, and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Add the mixture to the creamy bowl then mix well the whole stuff. Stir in chocolate chips, pistachios, and cranberries. The mixture is going to be sticky by now.
  • Pour the mixture into rectangular shapes on a baking tray. Sprinkle with sugar from above and bake for 20-25 minutes. The tray should be removed from the oven and cut the baked cookies into smaller rectangles. Now put it in the oven again, and bake for the next 8-10 minutes. The biscotti should be light brown and not dark. Take them out and cool it for 2-3 hours.
  • The biscotti are ready to be served you can also store them in airtight containers.

Chocolate-Espresso Snowballs

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cups pecans
  • 1/4 cups cocoa
  • 2 teaspoon finely ground espresso beans
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 200 grams unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup coarse sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • In the grinder, add the flour and pecans, and grind well until the pecans are fine Add cocoa, espresso, and salt and grind to create a fine mixture again.
  • Place butter and sugar in a separate bowl, and combine well with a hand blender to create a smooth mix. Add vanilla and mix it with a ladle for a while.
  • Add the mixture from the other bowl and combine to form a soft dough well.
  • Keep this mixture in a cool place overnight.
  • Shape fine balls out and put them in a baking tray that has or is greased with parchment paper on it. Bake the balls for at least 8-10 minutes at a 200 degree Celcius. Take them out, and let them cool for 5 minutes at least.
  • Now its time to make a snowball out of these. Roll the balls in powdered sugar and let them cool for some more time.
